I've only been following designer Erdem Moralioglu for a few seasons, but I've fallen quite fast for his work. His play with print is distinct and oddly powerful, even though he favors florals. This season, Erdem took inspiration from Diaghilev and the Ballet Russes. The girls took to the runway appearing lovely ballerina-esque, with shoes that tied up past their ankles. Soon floral prints emerged and the collection took on a different feel. The evolution led to a sort-of garden party look with a touch of dancer remaining. Erdem continues to push his dreamy agenda and by the look of things, he's doing it successfully.
