Alexander McQueen

Alexander McQueen is possibly one of the most provacative designers of all time. He is an absolute artist, who creates clothes for women who do not follow the norm, but choose to stand out like a bird of paradise amongst crows. In his Spring/Summer 2010 collection, McQueen created a look that was a work of genius. His girls were part human, part sea creature, part alien, and completely hot. McQueen's Atlantis-inspired futurism is bright and optimistic, but not falsely so. It wasn't butterflies and fields of wildflowers (which I would love, for the record), but it was vibrant. With this vibrance came an undeniable strength. These women were Amazonian in nature, not afraid of what the universe has in store for them. They will live and knock down anyone who gets in their way.

The shoes themselves were works of art, so I find it absolutely neccesary to feature some of the styles. I honestly not help myself, but to save 12 images. These shoes are insane.
