Almost every night in New York I slept under a collection of photos and memories, including a plastic bag that read "FUCK YOU" repeated several times, followed by a chipper "Have A Nice Day." When I saw Jeremy Scott's latest collection, I couldn't help but to be overcome with understanding laughter. This collection, obviously an ode to NYC, seemed to perfectly coincide with my trip. Inspired by downtown girls, Scott put together garments referencing everyday aspects of the city, including various signage and of course, TRASH. I won't bestow the word "genius" on the provocative designer, but I will say he makes fashion fun. I think we know what he has to say to any disapproval.
